Christmas Carol Sing Along - Away in a Manger

Away in a manger,
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Laid down His sweet head

The stars in the bright sky
Looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing
The poor Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes

I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side,
'Til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus,
I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray

Bless all the dear children
In Thy tender care
And take us to heaven
To live with Thee there

Sing Along Christmas Carol - The Holly & The Ivy

The holly and the ivy,

When they are both full grown

Of all the trees that are in the wood

The holly bears the crown

O the rising of the sun

And the running of the deer

The playing of the merry organ

Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a blossom

As white as lily flower

And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ

To be our sweet Saviour

O the rising of the sun

And the running of the deer

The playing of the merry organ

Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a berry

As red as any blood

And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ

To do poor sinners good

O the rising of the sun

And the running of the deer

The playing of the merry organ

Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a prickle

As sharp as any thorn;

And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ

On Christmas Day in the morn.

O the rising of the sun

And the running of the deer

The playing of the merry organ

Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a bark

As bitter as any gall;

And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ

For to redeem us all.

O the rising of the sun

And the running of the deer

The playing of the merry organ

Sweet singing of the choir

The holly and the ivy

Now both are full well grown,

Of all the trees that are in the wood,

The holly bears the crown.

O the rising of the sun

And the running of the deer

The playing of the merry organ

Sweet singing of the choir

White Christmas

The song White Christmas is one of my personal favourites. Although it was originall written (by Irving Berlin) for the movie Holiday Inn, it is undoubtedly most famously associated with the movie named after it's title - White Christmas. The film White Christmas starred Bing Crosby together with Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen and is a Chrismas classic.

This isn't the best video out there of the song, but it's the only one I could find featuring the finale of the movie.

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,

just like the ones I used to know

Where the treetops glisten and children listen

to hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,

just like the ones I used to know

Where the treetops glisten and children listen

to hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,

with every christmas card I write

May your days be merry and bright,

and may all your christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,

just like the ones I used to know

May your days be merry and bright,

and may all your christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,

with every christmas card I write

May your days be merry and bright,

and may all your christmases be white

May your days be merry and bright,

and may all your christmases be white

Incidentally, if you are just desperate to watch the movie again after this, it is available to watch on youtube in 12 parts, well worth the effort!!
